According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, 45-year-old Matthew Roloff was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, around midnight on June 19 after cops claim that Roloff's van had been swerving on the road. Roloff, who then failed a field sobriety test, was taken to Washington County Jail. How could he have passed the sobriety test? He uses two cane/crutch things to go anywhere... The poor guy probably only had one drink...

Many people have been raising questions in regards to Roloff's ability to perform sobriety tests. There are several tests that can be used in situations involving physical disabilities. Officers are also trained to use other observations in determining whether or not someone is under the influence.

I am curious to know if Roloff lost his license. Here in Michigan, refusing to take the breath test results in the automatic suspension of your driver's license for one year. Even if you are not convicted of OWI (operating while intoxicated).

I am also curious what Roloff's BAC was. Again here in Michigan, if you refuse the breath test, officers will seek to obtain a warrant for your blood. Ironically enough for people who refuse the breath test, blood results are typically render a higher BAC than would a breath test.
